- What does Car Dogs cost?
- Nothing. Advice, tools and answers are free for you. If you choose an introduction to a partner, that partner pays us a referral fee. You never pay Car Dogs.
- Is Car Dogs a dealership?
- No. Car Dogs is not a dealer, lender, repair shop or insurance agency. We help you understand your options and, only if you want, introduce you to a business that can do the work.
- Do I have to talk to a dealership to get help?
- No. You can use the tools and ask questions without any introduction. We only pass your information to a partner when you ask us to.
- What is the difference between the AI and a real Car Dog?
- Ask a Car Dog (AI) gives instant answers built on Car Dogs know-how. A real Car Dog is a person who reads your situation and comes back with specific options, usually within one business day.
- How accurate are the AI tools?
- The AI tools — including Photo Check (AI) — are assistive. They point out what to look at and what to ask next. They are not an appraisal, a diagnosis or an in-person inspection. Anything safety-related should be checked by a qualified shop.
- What happens to my information?
- We use it to answer your question and, if you ask for an intro, to connect you with one relevant partner. We do not sell your information or auction it to a list of buyers. See the Privacy page for the full detail.
- How are partners chosen?
- Partners agree to written standards before we send anyone their way: real responses, no bait pricing, no spam dialing, and your information stays private. If a partner breaks that, we stop sending introductions.
- Which areas does Car Dogs cover?
- Advice is available anywhere. Partner introductions depend on who is live in your market — if there is no partner nearby, we still help you plan the move yourself.
- How do dogs fit into a car company?
- Referral revenue funds support for rescue dogs and shelters. That is the reason the company exists, not a marketing add-on. Cars help dogs.
- Can I stop text messages?
