Car Dogs is new. We're working with local rescues and shelters now, and the moment a dog is confirmed adoptable — with their photo, their story and their organization's permission — they'll be on this page. No stock photos, no made-up names.

How it works
Four steps, no mystery.
Advice is always free. If you choose to talk to a partner, they pay us a referral fee.

A partner pays us — not you
If you choose an intro and it turns into real business, the shop or dealer pays Car Dogs a referral fee.
Step 3
A portion funds dog support
A portion of every partner referral fee funds dog rescue support. We'll publish the numbers here as soon as there are numbers to publish.
Step 4
Dogs get seen, and get homes
We feature adoptable dogs from rescues and shelters we've actually spoken to, and we help them get in front of people.
Who this is for
One business, built so neither side is a favor.
Car Dogs started because we kept noticing the same two frustrations from opposite directions: people who wanted honest, no-pressure help with a car decision, and rescues and shelters who needed more eyes on adoptable dogs than a shelter website alone gets them. This page is where those two things meet, and it's worth explaining plainly how the money actually moves, since "cars help dogs" can sound like a slogan until you see the mechanics.

How a car question turns into dog support
Advice is free, on purpose
You can ask a Car Dog to price a deal, check a symptom, help you sell a car, or sort out insurance without paying anything or committing to anything. That's not a loss leader we're hoping to make up later — it's the entire first step, every time.
We get paid by partners, not by you
- If you choose an intro to a shop, dealer or lender and it turns into real business, that partner pays Car Dogs a referral fee.
- You never pay Car Dogs directly for advice, an intro, or a symptom check.
- If an intro doesn't lead anywhere, nobody owes anyone anything — there's no pressure built into the model to push you toward a partner that isn't right for you.
Where the dog commitment fits
A portion of the referral revenue Car Dogs earns goes toward supporting dog rescue and adoption work, detailed on our impact page. It's not funded by donations or by markup on advice — it comes out of the same referral fees that keep the business running.
Why we only feature dogs we've vetted
Every dog on this page comes from a rescue or shelter we've spoken to directly, with their permission to feature the dog. We don't run stock photos or made-up profiles, and adoption itself is always handled by the rescue or shelter — not by Car Dogs.
