Text Messaging Terms.

Effective August 9, 2026. Program: Car Dogs Alerts. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.

What we text you

Car Dogs sends text messages about the request you submitted: answers from a real Car Dog, partner introductions you asked for, appointment details and follow-ups.

How you opt in

You only receive texts if you gave us your mobile number on one of our forms or asked us to text you. Consent is not a condition of any purchase or of getting help from us.

How often we text

Message frequency varies with your request. Most people receive a handful of messages while we're helping them; these are recurring messages, not a fixed campaign.

Cost

Message and data rates may apply. Car Dogs does not charge for text messages — your mobile carrier's plan rates apply.

How to stop

Reply STOP to any message to stop all texts. You can also reply STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, QUIT, CANCEL or END. We'll send one confirmation and then stop.

You can also use the unsubscribe link in any of our emails, or tell us and we'll remove you from everything. Ask a partner to stop contacting you and they must stop; if they don't, tell us and we'll handle it.

How to get help

Reply HELP to any message for help, or email help@cardogs.org. We'll reply during business hours.

When we text

We send texts only between 8:00am and 9:00pm in your local time, based on the ZIP code you gave us.

Carriers and devices

Supported carriers include AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless, Sprint, U.S. Cellular and most regional carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Texting requires a mobile phone that can receive SMS. Delivery is not guaranteed on every device or network.

Privacy

We don't sell your personal information. See our Privacy Policy for what we collect and who we share it with, and our Terms of Use for everything else.
