Insure Your Car
Coverage that fits an Ontario commute.
We'll read your declarations page with you in plain English — what each line pays for, where you're overpaying, and where a thin limit could hurt you in a serious at-fault accident.

What you get
- Liability versus full coverage, explained without the jargon.
- How deductibles actually change what you pay.
- Discounts people routinely leave on the table.
- A second opinion on a renewal that jumped.
Watch out for
- West-end ZIP codes price differently from Fontana and San Bernardino. A move across the 15 is a reason to re-shop.
- Traffic density around the 10, 60 and the airport shows up in claim frequency, and claim frequency shows up in your renewal.
- If a vehicle is used for delivery or rideshare, confirm it's actually covered — most personal policies exclude it.
- California's minimum liability limits are low against the cost of a real accident on the 10 or the 60. Check your limits before shopping on price.

A couple of details is all it takes to get a real answer.
What drives Ontario premiums
Carriers price the roads you actually use, and Ontario's are busy: the 10, the 60, the 15 and heavy surface traffic around the airport and distribution centers. That claim frequency is baked into west-end rates, which is why a quote here won't match a coastal or High Desert quote for the same driver and car.
The second factor is how the vehicle is used. Annual mileage is the number people most often get wrong on their own policy, and commercial or delivery use is the one that most often isn't covered at all. Both are worth verifying line by line on your declarations page.
- Check the garaging address, listed drivers and annual mileage on your current policy for errors.
- If any vehicle is used for delivery, rideshare or business errands, ask specifically whether it's covered.
- Ask which discounts you qualify for and aren't receiving — multi-policy, paid in full, telematics, good student.
Coverage worth keeping, and the right lever to pull
When you need the bill lower, raise a deductible you could comfortably pay rather than cutting liability limits. One trades a little risk you control for savings; the other removes the protection you bought the policy for.
- Liability above the California minimum — anything over your limit becomes your personal liability.
- Uninsured and underinsured motorist coverage, which is usually inexpensive and genuinely relevant on these corridors.
- Comprehensive and collision, required by your lender if the car is financed.
- Rental reimbursement and roadside, small dollars that matter when your only car is also your commute.

Questions Ontario drivers ask us
Why is insurance more expensive in Ontario than where I used to live?
Location and traffic density. Carriers rate the claim history of your ZIP code and the corridors you drive, and Ontario's are heavily traveled. Shopping matters here because the spread between carriers is real.
Is my delivery driving covered by my personal policy?
Usually not. Most personal auto policies exclude delivery and rideshare use. If you do either, you need an endorsement or a commercial policy — otherwise a claim can be denied.
Is the California minimum enough coverage?
Rarely. It's low relative to the cost of a multi-vehicle accident, and raising limits typically costs far less than people expect.
Can you review my policy?
Yes. Send the declarations page and we'll translate every line, flag gaps, and tell you what's worth changing.
